Unfortunate answer - it depends. Teams can vary from 3 people to 50+. Generally our teams are bottom heavy with a number of Associates and Senior Associates, then a fewer number of Assistant Managers, Managers, Senior Managers, Partners. I'm a Manager in Assurance - my smallest team is three people (a first year, second year and qualified senior, then me and a partner), my biggest team is about 20 but then with an overseas team and specialists supporting.
Some jobs will just have Assistant Managers and Partners, others will have multiple at each level depending on the size of the engagement.
