Hi Bishal, Doing a degree in Accounting & Finance will help to show your keen interest in Audit & Accounting (although we value degrees from all subjects). If you're asked at, say, an interview why you're interested in Audit, you can draw on your MSc. Additionally, if you join the Audit Scheme you may get exemptions for certain examinations depending on your degree

Thank you so much for your response. I’ve applied for the Audit Graduate scheme in Manchester and would love to know more about the programme such as the typical responsibilities, development opportunities, and team structure for new joiners. Could you also please share how many graduate openings are available for Audit in the Manchester office and if there are any upcoming events or insights sessions related to it?

I would suggest taking a look at the early careers website to see openings for Audit in Manchester: Early Careers | EY - UK. I would encourage applying early to avoid disappointment.

We also have events advertised on our website and social media channels, so you can follow EY's recruitment social channels so you don't miss an event
