I am not in the consulting team so this is a general point: It's great that you have an idea of what you would like to focus on but at first I suspect you'll be placed on projects where there is the greatest business need for you to join. This is a good thing, as you'll have a more broad knowledge of sectors/ project types, and you may even find that you find a different area of consulting that you prefer.
