If after the final live interview you don’t get a job offer are your details saved in case other vacancies arise?

This happened to a friend recently who was asked to re apply in 3 months but was told he’d have to start the whole process again which didn’t make sense to me - for you or him. Thank you

    Hello,

This depends. If you didn't get the role because the role is full, you would be put on a "reserve" list where if a role opens up because someone has dropped out you would be offered the role. If you didn't pass your final interview, your details would not be saved

Thank you, why do you keep details on file if you don’t pass your final interview rather than having to re apply 3 months later please? Double recruitment time and money for you!

If you don't pass the final interview you will have to reapply to test your suitability for the role

So you wouldn't be considered for any other roles within ey? Such a shame to get all the way to final interview stage and then be totally rejected by ey

Hi, you wouldn't be considered for any other roles unfortunately. We must ensure a fair process for all of our applicants, so they must go through the same consistent process
