Good afternoon everyone! Thanks for taking your time to be here. I am an MSc Sustainability graduate and looking into the sustainable finance programme from EY. Thanks :) From cold but rarely snowy Southampton.
Hi Wuyue, I'm based in the London office in London Bridge - it's a nice environment (even with COVID!) and everyone is super friendly (I've only been at EY for three months). There are lots of networks you can join too :)
That sounds great!
Hi Wuyue - thanks for your question. Our Sustainable Finance graduate programme is open still for Edinburgh applications - you can find out more here: https://www.ey.com/en_uk/careers/students/programmes/graduates/consulting-graduate-programme-options/sustainable-finance
Sustainability is a huge project and objective for EY and our clients at the moment, particularly with our most recent activity at Cop 26 - I would definitely have a look on our LinkedIn page for EY to showcase the activities we did and see from some of our women in leadership positions on their take on Sustainability
I am currently trying to apply, but I'm not from a finance background, so I'm also looking for advice in how to better showcase my skills
Hi Wuyue, we do not screen applications based on Academic Background. A lot of transferable skills can come from various degrees as we have seen here at EY. You can also upskill yourself through free courses online to show that you are proactive and have a genuine interest in the sector.
Thank you! This is very helpful. Does EY consider graduate with PSW visa for this programme?
Hi Yes, we don't turn away candidates on Visa status . Do also check when you are applying for a particular service line too
Thank you!
