On the audit graduate programme, you will be on client work from day one. This means you are given responsibility straight away, with the support and guidance of the EY team you are working with. The tasks you do will vary day to day and also depending on whether the client is currently having their year end audit or if it's the planning stage etc. Tasks can range from working on a specific test over an account e.g. cash, to conducting discussions with the client. Whatever you are working on, you will be given lots of support and guidance, and will be a valuable member of the team. You will also visit client sites, which is a great opportunity to see inside businesses and to build relationships with clients. The clients you work on will depend on whether you apply for UKI or FS - FS covers financial services clients, whereas UKI covers all other industries.
