In the Data & Analytics pillar coding skills are very important - either for scripting an analysis recipe, developing a data application that integrates to client systems, or prototyping tools.
Thanks for the reply, Dimitrios. I wonder if there is placement and summer intern available for this particular area?
Hi Dimitrios, Jade. In the data & analytics team, is R language used often in the day-to-day role - involving statistics, or are python + SQL + BI softwares more prevalent? I'm wondering if the role would lean more towards data analyst/engineering or/and data science over time
Hi Sum, The choice of language can often depend on the client and how they want to run it. I've known people to use Python, SQL and PowerBI on projects. In terms of Data Engineering vs Data Science, it's your choice. You can choose to specialise in whatever suits your skillset and aspirations.
@Sum No day is alike so and a lot depends on the client project (what the client wants) or the development that is undertaken in-house
Sounds exactly the kind of work I want! Thanks Dhruv, Dimitrios!
Hi both, if you'd like to apply, you can do so here https://ukcareers.ey.com/students/programmes/graduate-programmes/technology-graduate-programme-options
