Be open, and if a cover letter is required?
^this is a continuation to my above question :)
Hi Grace, all of our graduate programmes open in either August or September (slightly different dates for some programmes). The best thing to do would be to register your interest in our programmes on the website and then you would be notified as soon as your specific programme of interest is open!
And in our application process you fill out an online application form so no need for a CV or cover letter!
Thank you so much Rachel !
I am also interested in knowing what the application process entails such as online tests, video/telephone interviews, assessment centres... Has covid altered any go these?
The only thing that has been altered due to Covid is that interviews and our assessment centres are not being held in person and are being held online instead! This will continue for the foreseeable until we deem it safe to revert back to in person
Thank you once again! I know this is all speculative, but are online group exercises to be expected? or is this still to uncertain/group exercises not conducted at EY?
For more information on the whole process (as these vary by programme) please see our website here which details each of the stages in detail: https://ukcareers.ey.com/students/how-to-apply
Thank you so much !
It is harder for us to assess on group exercises in the virtual format, but we will be looking to assess your group working skills in alternative ways so I would prepare some good examples of when you have previously worked well in a team!
Thank you Rachel. I also wanted to ask about the size of the consultancy team at the London office compared to other offices throughout the UK?
And if this has been affected by Covid^?
Unfortunately we do not have any numbers in relation to targets for how many we will take on for 2021. These have not yet been confirmed. Given the size of the office in London the overall consultancy practice will be larger.
