I'm joining as a summer intern in the FS office. I'm quite apprehensive about the internship from the point of view that I'm not really a "techy" and that I will struggle with this role! Do you have any advice on preparing? Many thanks in advance :)
Hi, do not worry about being 'techy' at all! I had absolutely no background on what IT risks & controls were, how to test IT controls, even how to use excel! You will be taught everything from scratch and do lots of learning on the job. Your team will all have been in the same boat when they joined as an intern/grad too, so will completely understand and support you in learning the role! Best of luck on your internship!
