I'm looking forward to join your company and trying to learn more about its services and culture. I'm already amazed with the holistic approach of the assessment process. I took a quiz and Transaction was right for me. So I want to know more about it. Thanks
Hello - great to hear that you're interested in working in transactions.
EY's transactions team is split into a number of different sub-teams, covering a range of different aspects of transaction work (e.g. financial diligence, IT diligence, restructuring, strategy etc). While each team has different responsibilities (you should find more information on our careers website on each), the core skills for a graduate can be relatively similar. Initially your work will involve reviewing client information, conducting market research and working with presentations and excel models.
Our work is typically short-term projects (4 weeks to a couple of months) and thus we work with a wide variety of clients and can have different roles on each project.
I hope that helps - let me know if you have any other specific questions
