I love technology and have always wanted to try coding. Does EY provide any opportunities to learn coding as a beginner?

Hi James, Yes! At EY we have access to courses to teach you many programming languages such as R, Python and SQL. The difficulty of these courses ranges from beginner to expert.

Perfect that sounds amazing! I am partially familiar with Python and SQL but only vaguely. The closest to coding I have done is the use of macros within Excel while doing my a-level course. Hopefully I should be able to learn quickly although I do know how hard it can be! Thank you Dhruv.

Sorry I should have specified that I have already been lucky enough to have gained a place in the Assurance sector at the Manchester office. Will these opportunities to learn coding etc still be available even if it involves doing it in my own time? Thank you both!

Yup! We have access to a lot of self-paced online learning that you can take regardless of your service line, including coding.
