100% even during these circumstances and therefore I can decline all my university offers?
Hi Nisaah - thank you for your question! Your offer is conditional on maintaining your current academic performance; therefore you need to achieve the predicted grades you put on your application to maintain the offer.
In relation to the current global pandemic, we are aware that you will be uncertain about how you will receive the academic results you have worked so hard for this year due to School and College closures, and will be feeling apprehensive about the fact that your EY offer for September 2020 is conditional on obtaining and evidencing these results.
Therefore, we want to let you know that EY is staying close to the UK government advice on the response to COVID-19, the global guidance from the World Health Organisation, and on the advice on exams and results from schools. Your EY Apprenticeship offer is conditional on you meeting the predicted grades listed in your application form, and we will work directly with you to understand your achieved grades when they are published (if you’re still studying), taking into account your performance in the EY recruitment process and any mitigating circumstances in our review.
Hey Kate, thank you for the response! I was in my last year of high school therefore I have achieved 5 highers last year and this year I was doing a few subjects. My understanding was that as I have achieved 5 highers, my predicted grades this year wouldn’t fully impact and effect my offer. So in this case even though I have achieved 5 highers, my offer is still conditional?
I believe I am in a similar position as I achieved my International Baccalaureate last year (2019). I too was wondering if my offer was "conditional"?
Hi Nisaah - this is still conditional as we need the evidence that you have achieved these grades - but i'm sure you will see that we are beginning to reach out for pre employment screening checks and as part of these once we have verified education with institutions this is when we'll confirm with you that your offer and pre employment screening
checks have been validated.
