I used the email sign in that I used for the summer internship application so has the same job ID. I only got withdrawn from internship role on 22 May 2023 as you'd filled all roles. Do I have to wait until 22 November 2023 (6 months) to apply for graduate scheme? If not, if I answer Yes to the question on registration ‘Is this the only application for an EY student vacancy you've submitted in the last six months, excluding EY Foundation?’ then I am worried because it says PLEASE NOTE: Applications made before the six-month time period has lapsed will be withdrawn, which may jeopardise any offer of employment.
Yes, you can apply for the graduate scheme from now. The 6 month rule only applies if you have failed a stage :)
I'm not sure if this is a failed stage this is a copy of the message from you in May 2023, 'Unfortunately we don’t have a role for you at the moment and, with regret, we need to withdraw your application. However, we’ve spent a lot of time reviewing your application and you do have positive results so far. We would like to keep your application, and if anything changes we will invite you to resume your application. You must wait 6 months from the date you were withdrawn before making a new application, as per our standard re-application policy.'
Hi Anthony, from that email I can see that you have not failed a stage and you are welcome to apply again from now :)
What do I answer to the pre-registration question ‘Is this the only application for an EY student vacancy you've submitted in the last six months, excluding EY Foundation?’? If I anseer yes won't the system automatically stop me applying?
You will need to answer 'No' to this question in order for your application to come through
This is what EY says before that question: 'We aim to provide a world-class EY experience for candidates. Please be sure to read our Candidate Charter which outlines our commitment. EY is on the lookout for those who demonstrate professional integrity and whose values align with our own. We expect honesty from all candidates. If your application is unsuccessful at any stage, we request you wait six months to re-apply. If you do choose to apply a second time, you’ll need to use a new email address due to restrictions in our system. We take our candidate charter and policies very seriously; applications made before the six months will be withdrawn.
PLEASE NOTE: Applications made before the six-month time period has lapsed will be withdrawn, which may jeopardise any offer of employment'.'
Can you guarantee that my application will be progressed if I answer no to that question?
Yes. When you select 'No' to that question, your application will be flagged to our internal assessment team and marked as a duplicate. They will check what stage your last application got to, which in your case was withdrawn due to role closure. As you have not failed any of our assessments, the team will allow your application for the graduate scheme to continue :)
