My onboarding experience was great fun and something that I will not forget. First we had an online induction, with all the apprentices in the different business areas across the UK. It gave a great initial introduction to EY. Next we had the office induction, with all of the new joiners in my office. This was a superb chance to network with fellow apprentices, and make good friends that I still have to this day. Additionally, there was an office social, where everyone else present was encourage to network with us, and I still catch up with those people whenever I get a chance to in the office. The following week, we had our role specific induction, with all of the other apprentices across the UK in my sub service line, giving me the knowledge of how to do my role, as well as build contacts in my team that I can go to for help. Overall the induction period was great fun, and lots of support was given throughout.
