Hi! I had my internship in London but because we were at the peak of the covid outbreak, it was a virtual one that was shorter than the usual 4 weeks. I worked on developing a communication strategy for a music streaming company for their ERP system transformation.
Wow, that sounds interesting! Thank you. Are all consulting internships at EY for 4 weeks?
Glad you find it interesting! Besides the actual project, there were quite a few (although virtual) social events where I connected with everyone participating in the internship in all locations - super enjoyable :)
That's great! Really like the fact that you got an opportunity to meet others :). Any tips for Cover letter, assessment and interviews for consulting summer internship.
All consulting internships are 4 weeks! For tips, I would suggest trying to show your passion and letting your personality shine through, while thinking about what EY values are when it comes to client service (e.g. being client-centric, 'building a better working world', diversity and inclusion etc) and how these might align with your passion!
Got it! Thank you so much for answering my questions :)
No worries at all!
Hi Jane, how many projects do you work on? do you work with different team members for different projects? Do you follow an agile framework?
I assume this is a question regarding the graduate programme! Usually graduates work on one project at a time, and the length of the projects vary highly (can be a few weeks or 12+ months). The team can have consultants from various service lines/competencies of the business and even locations.I have not personally used the agile framework, but I can imagine it is more relevant in projects led by Innovation & Experience Design and Transformation Delivery service lines
Thank you Jane.
Hi Jane,
A follow up question - are there any particular sectors that the London office focuses on for consulting clients?
