One of my favourite things about working in corporate finance is that the role can vary from day-to-day and is particularly dependent on the type of project you will be working on.
However, I would expect some core activities to include: company research on a target or client, helping to prepare for and attend client meetings, pulling together information for a report, perhaps some analysis in excel... it really does vary!
Whoever you are working with will try to ensure you have interesting and engaging tasks to do and, if there is something specific you would like to do then raise your hand and I am sure people will try to help you achieve this.
