The answer to this question really depends on the client you're booked to. As EY has been transitioning out of COVID, it has become much more common to go out to client site - it's hard to overstate how much more effective this way of working can be!Most engagements are allocated to an EY office near them, however this can vary depending on the individual circumstances of the audit, and the team. For example, I'm based in the Luton office, and my main client requires me to travel towards Milton Keynes relatively frequently - however, I have worked from London on several occasions & other more places further afield. Sorry if this doesn't quite answer your question - but the real answer is 'it depends!'
Working on 'away' jobs is a slightly different question and one that probably won't apply for the SIP. I have never worked on an away job personally, and so am probably not the best person to comment on this.
Interesting. Thank You!
