Busy season is broadly expected to last January-March, which is because many companies have a December year end and so reporting with tight deadlines occurs in the months that follow.
You would definitely be on two year end audits back to back, and could be on many more, but not all year end audits require long hours, as not all of them have the tight deadlines mentioned above. If you ever found you were on too many time pressured jobs back to back then there are many people around to help you find a solution and you would be able to book your own catch up days if needed when you have a spare week.
