Hi James, the logistics and format of qualifications differ for each program. I am currently on the degree apprenticeship scheme in Newcastle where we attend university one day a week and complete assignments. I am also aware that there are various professional qualifications which are offered through an 'in office classroom' format as well as block college visits (e.g 1-2 week block visits oppose to 1 day a week). What programme is it that you are joining?
Thank you Lauren.
I am joining the Manchester Office in Assurance. I believe I am gaining a level 7 apprenticeship and also the chartered accountancy qualification through ICAEW
The qualifications will be conducted through the college/qualification provider, I believe this is in block weeks throughout the year however this will be fully clarified throughout your induction period with us!
Perfect thank you very much for your help. Based off of other questions - I have gathered that we initially have 2 days within our office (Manchester for me) as an induction and then we go to college for the next week / 2 weeks? Is this correct? Thank you
Hi James, the logistics of the apprenticeship scheme will be provided throughout your induction week. You will also be provided with a counsellor in the workplace who can provide support in any specific queries for the program! I believe your offer letter may outline some of the specific areas of the program you are joining also.
Perfect. Thank you for your help!
