I am actually commuting from home, and the journey is around 1hr20min for me. Given the flexibility at EY, I have been able to manage it really well, cause you don't have to be in the office everyday. We can work from home too.

And even during busy season, my seniors were keen enough to let me work from home in the evenings so I don't have to commute when it's really late.

What is working from home typically like?

So the hours are the same, the work you do is the same. Just you communicate with your team members online and meetings are held virtually.

Do you have a preference to working at home or going to the office?

I don't have a specific preference. I mean, if you work in the office you can always go to your seniors immediately and sit next to them so you can learn how they work etc...
And working from home just means you are more flexible, and you don't have to commute.

I feel like a good balance between the 2 works wonders
