I'm quite interested in the energy and Renewables sector (Engineering Student) and where EY fits within this sector.
Hey Jai! Unfortunately, that's no longer an option. There's a lot of other opportunities available to second elsewhere (including in Sustainable Finance in UKFS)
Ah that's a shame, have you worked with the sustainable finance team much?
I have some experience with ESG and again also interested in that.
I've done some work here and there. Some brilliant opportunities to be involved in both internal and external work. So for example, there was recently a large project with a major asset manager to review their ESG portfolio to make it "greener"
That would be great to get involved with so the sustainable finance team reviewed that portfolio?
Who would you recommend talking to early on to get involved with this as side of desk work, or support writing white papers etc?
Exactly! Would speak to your counsellor as a first port of call and they can help you network with them. You can also try Sandy Trust or Jo Young who are involved in the SF team
Class I'll make a note of these! Appreciate the advice!
I heard that CCaSS (Climate Change and Sustainability Services) sits within FS? Is this true? Do you know much about the work they do?
Believe it sits primarily within UK&I. Unfortunately, I'm not too sure on what precisely they do!
