How do you think your approach will change in terms of onboarding and training for new employees over the next few months? Would you like to keep any of these changes in place for when the pandemic is over?
We have been working remotely from home as a firm since the beginning of March and we are adapting really well to this 'new normal'
We use Microsoft Teams and keep in touch virtually with one another for work purposes for also for more social aspe ts like lulnch and leanrs & bake offs & book clubs ect
We are looking to virtually onboard our new joiners in the coming months through couriering their laptops and things to them & welcoming them to the firm with an online approach
Through online training etc...
We are unsure what this will look like when lockdown is over in terms of whether we continue on like this or return to the way taht it was previous to this.
That sounds interesting, I am currently working on an onboarding project in my placement role and considering how we do things going forward, as most people prefer the new normal. People have particularly found WFH to be more productive and we have been using 'at home' pub quizzes for socialising similar to you. Thank you very much Claire
