Hi, I was wondering how do you complete the apprenticeship? Is it an online course? How much time do EY allow you to go off and study? Is it exams or coursework? what qualifies you as passing?
Hey, the apprenticeship is 5 years and is a mixture of exams and being in work. Generally the courses are held in college at your local Kaplan centre, but there were a couple of modules at CFAB level that were self study (online). You may also get some revision time off depending on what level the exam is/whether it's a resit or not.
To qualify you will have sat 15 exams at 3 different levels: certificate, professional and advanced. You will also need to be time qualified, so have spent a certain amount of time working out on client sites, but this definitely isn't an issue for school leavers as the course is 5 years long so you will definitely get enough time in work to qualify!
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!
Hey! In terms of the EY data analytics degree apprenticeship, this is a four-year program that is entirely coursework-based, starting at Level 4 and progressing to Level 6. Throughout the program, you'll typically have university (BPP University) for a week-long period every 2 months or so depending on busy period, with most of the learning done online in a live classroom setting. There are also 1-2 weeks each year where you'll need to be in London for in-person sessions at BPP. EY ensures you have enough time for study leave, so you'll have more than enough time to successfully complete and graduate with your degree. As for assessment, the grading system is similar to traditional degrees, with anything above 70% classified as a First etc.
