our SaT discover EY applications are closed for this year. If you have not yet applied, you would have to wait until applications re-open later in the year. These are a very popular service line to apply to, and so applications close quite early

Additionally, I am a BSc Graduate of Economics, Markets and Finance from Ca’foscari University of Venice and currently studying an online 2.5 year MSc in Finance and Investment Management. currently i am working as a Finance Manager at GIZ Mozambique.

My role is very administrative, it involves most monitoring and reporting used funds to donors. I struggle with finding relevant skills to highlight in my CV.

What sort of profile do you expect from candidates for such positions?

No previous experience is required Eric as we work on a strengths assessment model, https://www.ey.com/en_uk/careers/students/strengths

If you do not have experience in this area, I would recommend staying up to date with market trends, and news articles to demonstrate an interest in this area.

I do keep up with latest market trends by watching a few youtube channel like TLDR News, Economics explained, Visual Economic, as well as reading Financial times and listening to financial times podcasts.

Is this something to highlight in my CV?

You can list this in the interests section at the bottom Eric, for sure.

Do you mind if i Ask you what led you to join EY or better what keeps you there?

Of course, I was initially headhunted to join, and they have a tremendous reputation in the industry, the culture is sublime, the people genuinely care, and there is lots of opportunity for growth
