Aside from practicing recording themself on video?
The job sim is about your communication skills
Practice writing a professionally worded email
Ensure to use formal language, avoid emojis etc
And also yes practice answering questions whilst videoing yourself and watch it back to improve
Or do mock interviews with a family member/friend and ask for feedback.
That's great; thank you so much Claire! Would you recommend practicing situational judgement tests as well?
Hi Amelia - the team ran a great session on supporting you through the Situational Judgment test and this is on youtube https://youtu.be/iHbyPQqoFCw
Hi Verity, Thank you so much for sending me that link! I'll be sure to watch the video.
No problem - practise makes for the best preparation for the NRT - when you get to that stage of the application you'll also receive an NRT guidance doc to support you with your practise
Ok, that's great to hear, thank you! In the job simulation stage, are there further tests of this kind?
The job simulation is in the form of a case study where you will be given a fake client and engagement to work on. There will be situational judgement questions, data analysis questions, an email to write to test written communication and also some video questions, so it's really testing a number of strengths!
Hi Rachel, that's great; thank you very much!
