How are bonuses structured?

Are there bonuses tied to exam performance? To work performance? Roughly how much would these be?

Hello. This varies by service line, but I can answer for UK&I Assurance. Every rank receives a set number of 'performance shares' (not actual shares), which depending on the performance of our service line for the year, and each 'share' will be worth a set amount at the end of the financial year. Those who are the highest performers will then receive performance awards of exceptional performance awards which are worth even more. Bonuses run from our financial year, 1st July to 30th June, and are paid in October. On top of this, there are spot awards for between £10 and £50 and we all have a £500 wellbeing pot to use to spend on anything to support our mental, physical or social health.

So, just to clarify, bonuses are thus based upon both individual performance and performance of your service line as a whole?

That's right. The biggest driver is the service line's performance, but individually you'll be rewarded for being a high performer.

That's very helpful. Thank you very much. Could you give an example of how much the service line and individual bonuses might have been for associates in your service line last year?
