Hi Nnedinma - thank you for your question! I would say that you could definitely have a chance with EY (for example, on the graduate programme, as long as you have recently graduated with a degree from a university). We have several people in my team who had another career straight from university and then a year later decided to join EY instead. The fact that you've previously been a carer will not stop you from becoming an accountant at all. I'd advise that you double check the eligibility requirements for the programme you are interested in. Best of luck!
