Hi Zaeem, it would depend on where your clients are based and their requirements when it comes to travel
Can I ask a similar question - my role is business consulting, UK&I, Birmingham office - does knowing those specifics help you give a more specific answer?
Unfortunately not as we do not know exactly what clients you will be working with. There will of course be the opportunity to travel, but cannot share how frequently this would be at this early stage
I'm in the situation where I want to minimise the amount of travel as far as is possible - fully understanding that I might have to do a fair amount. What are the steps I could take to limit the likely amount needed? Are there particular specialisms/types of clients that would tend to involve less travel?
I would recommend speaking to your manager upon joining in regards to the reason around this and how they can support
Thanks very much, I've got a family who find it hard when I'm away from home!
