GPS assurance stands for Government & Public Sector, so you'd be dealing with entities that fall within that. Examples include councils, schools, Trusts etc. In terms of prestige I don't really think it matters - it is worth noting you are still working in Assurance in a top accounting firm. It depends on what you're interested in, though. If the corporate sector is something that interests you then it's worth looking into that.
