Hey! It's great to hear that you're interested in data analytics/engineering, it's such an dynamic field that’s only going to grow in the future!
To make a start into this career path, I’d recommend focusing on building a strong foundation in key skills like SQL, Python, and Power BI. There are plenty of online courses available through platforms like Coursera or Udemy. By taking these courses, you'll not only learn the theory behind these tools, but you’ll also be able to demonstrate your eagerness to learn and stay up to date with the industry.
It's also important to gain hands-on experience by working with real-world data, not just theory. So, try applying to as many analytical apprenticeships or internships as possible to get practical exposure and build your skills. By showcasing that you have already took some courses will really help differentiate you from other candidates.
Finally, one of the key things I’ve learned from my own apprenticeship journey is that continuous learning is crucial. The world of data analytics is constantly evolving with new tools and methodologies, so staying curious and committed to learning is important for long-term success.
Best of luck with your journey!
