To follow on from this, the company, Reorg, focused specifically on low credit companies and I had to go through many auditing reports as a result.
This sounds like valuable experience you would be able to share in your recruitment process with EY Faizan. It is all about transferrable skills, as well as skills development.
That is good to hear! Would I be able to highlight this during the initial application process or further on would you say?
Throughout the process if it is relevant to the questions posed.
In relation this, how do teams usually look within the audit department, specifically in terms of size? The locations of the offices that interested me were Milton Keynes and London.
Teams vary from client to client. Some of the teams I have worked on are in excess of 12 people, some are just 3. In terms of entire office, London is historically the largest audit area.
Thank you for the answer Harry. I see that you started in September 2022, how was it for you to provide input and suggestions as a junior? Having experienced how daunting it can be at first with so many experienced individuals, a positive environment is something that definitely interests me!
The audit team is always welcoming input. As a junior you will be taking on vital areas of the audit from day 1 so your work is always valued. The team also wants input on how best to work efficiently, how to communicate better so that the audit can run smoothly.
Great to hear. Thank you again for taking the time to answer my questions today!
You're welcome, let me know if you have any further questions.
