Hello, my name is Yanghua WAN, and I’m excited to be joining the assurance team this coming September. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with you today. Therefore, prior to our session, I have prepared four questions and would greatly appreciate your replies or confirmations.
1. For planning purposes, could you confirm whether our start date is September 5th?
2. Is there an introductory week planned before the formal onboarding process begins? If so, could you share its duration?
3. Are there any specific documents or paperwork I should prepare in advance of the onboarding?
4. When can I expect to sign the official contract?
5. Apart from ICAS or ICAEW route, could I choose ACCA for my role?
I am in Manchester offices
Hi Yanghua. Thank you for your message.
1. The start date is the 5 September.
2. There will be an informal offer holder event which will be shared in due time - however nothing more than that.
3. You will be contacted by a member of the EY team if any documentation is required from you.
4. Your offer letter is on the portal which you would have accepted.
5. The qualification you are registered for depends on what best suits the need for the business rather than a choice.
I hope this helps :)
Thank you for your information. For question 4, I mean the official contract to sign or you mean the offer is the contract?
Hi Yanghua, your offer letter and contract is on your online portal.
I only got the accepted offer letter document in my portal. The other part shows document requiring completion.
Does it mean I need to upload the document so that I can get the contract?
BTW, the required document is NI evidence and I have sent to student offer teams by email as there might be some technical issue to upload it.
