Hi Angela, even though I'm a graduate, I can still answer for apprentices. They both end up at the same result i.e. chartered accountant. The only difference is that for apprentices it takes 5 years as opposed to 3 years for graduates - otherwise exactly the same result!
Thank you. Are the pass rates the same?
Hi Angela, the different accountancy qualifications I have seen are ICAEW and ICAS. In my office all school leaver apprentices are on the ICAEW qualification for 5 years and all graduates are on the ICAS qualification for 3 years. They both end up in qualification as an accountant and they have similar pass rates
