I seen that you have a degree in geography and then moved onto a graduate role at EY, I have a degree in law and business management. With it being a different knowledge background to what assurance is did you find it hard to adjust or was it just learning new things from the beginning again?
Hi - you do not need a back in accounting to succeed in a career in Assurance at EY. We have graduates with all degree disciplines that join us, and we provide you with all of the training you need throughout the graduate programme to qualify and complete your exams. The best thing to support you with adjusting is to ask questions to your team. You'll have a buddy, mentor and counsellor that will help you throughout your time on the graduate programme.
