Yes, is the short answer. If you carry exemption relevant to ICAS - EY will allow these to be used. I was awarded 4/5 exemptions in my TC level of ICAS from my degree.
Great, and do you know if we would be studying for exams straight away or would it be split between work and exams in the first few months?
Normally, you will be studying towards exams right away. ICAS splits training into modules so perhaps you will studying first towards 2 modules, do two exams, then get into the office around November time. The next block will be after Christmas where you would start again on the next block of two modules.
Hmm thats make sense, ive got some exemptions from university so the first level consists of 6 exams , so I would probably do the remaining 2 exams first and then carry on, is that correct?
So even if you are exempt from an exam, you would still go through the course in its entirety. Just just get to skip the exam. So you still benefit from all the content and learning.
Ahh I see, so you wouldnt be in the actual exam, but you would need to attend the learning and etc.
Do you know, when we will be informed of the learning and structure etc.
And Can I apply to ICAS for my exemptions now?
I am not sure of the opening time for ICAS exemption booking, please keep an eye on your emails for updates. You should start to receive emails from ICAS in the month running up to your start date
Okay, thank you for that
