Do you have to pay EY back if you pull out/fail the professional exams?

And is there a buy back clause after you finish your professional exams if you leave the company? Thanks

Hi Ryan- thanks for your question. If you pull out of the PQs and the training contract this would be looked at on an ad hoc basis and with your specific Professional Qualification body. With certain PQs if you fail first time you usually have the chance to resit- you may not be able to receive the same amount of study leave etc as the first time round however

    Hope this helps!

Is the number of times we are allowed to resit a PQ exam decided by EY or is it up to the PQ body?

Thanks Laura, I would then assume that after the training contract ends after 3 years you would need to receive a new contract? Would EY not offer a new contract if it wasn't in the business needs?

Hi Tiah - this would be set and managed by EY.

Hi Ryan, your offer letter and contract is for a permanent job, so this goes beyond your 3 year training period!
