No, you do not need to complete a summer internship to be offered a place on the graduate scheme :)
Thank you, what are EY recruiters looking for a person to have done in extra curricular time at university if they haven’t done an internship?
Are international students able to apply for cybersecurity graduate roles?
We don't require candidates to undertake specific extracurricular activities or jobs during their time at university. Our recruitment process has been created to test candidates on certain strengths that we require from our roles. A full list of the strengths that we look for can be found on our website here. We recognise that not all students will have had access to internships or work experience, so our focus is on applicant performance during our assessments
Hi Bessie, thank you for taking the time. May I ask what you would recommend for us to do to excel in these tests?
We accept applications from international students, but please check our website for more information that specific role with regards to visa sponsorship, as each role will have different rules on visa sponsorship.
If I may add to the thread, what would you say a candidate must have in their profile to stand out the rest such that they may have a bette chance of being absorbed following an experiece with EY's vacation opportunities or summer internships?
You can practice the numerical reasoning test online - if you head to our EY Student Preparation hub you can practice these until you feel comfortable to sit the EY One assessment:

We will also be running online webinars to support students through our application process - please check the events page on our website from September to register for these events
Is there any link in which I can register for the online webinars?
Yes - our lost of upcoming events can be found here: Our events | EY - UK. This will be updated in September with more events for the year :)
