Tips for the case study: be innovative & creative and put our clients needs first - it's important to prioritise their needs/.
The email activity is about time management and prioritisation - you need to be able to make decisions quickly and justify them.
Is the email an in-tray or e-tray activity?
Do we need to understand any technical accounting jargon for the case study exercise? Thank you for your advice.
You won't be expected to write emails - just to read them & be decisive on what tasks/projects to prioritise
You will not need to understand technical/accounting jargon
For the case study and email exercise, EY will be assessing us based on the core competencies that the company is looking in the candidates. Am I correct to say so? Thanks again.
Yes we will be assessing you based on the 6 key strengths that we look for in candidates.
Hi, where can we find these 6 key strengths?
Just want to ask on a recruiter perspective, if it is okay for you. If all candidates on the Experience Day meets all six criteria that EY has set out, will all of them be recruited too? I am keen to understand whether there is any quota that EY imposes for their summer internships.
Communication, teamwork/collaboration, adaptable/flexible, analytical, number savy & commercially aware.
If you're successful at the EYX & the final interview then you will be offered the role.
We will close our summer internship roles online when we have filled them.
By commercially aware, do you mean knowing in general whats going on in different business sectors?
Yes & how much you know about our industry - any updates on it & what our competitors are doing aswell.
Will the final interview take place on the same day as the EYX?
No it will be scheduled at later date.
Thank you :)
