Do restricted entities need to be declared, disposed of, or does this depend on the restriction category?

I have used the external independence system and identified several restricted entities within my portfolio and that of my family. As long as I am not working directly with the restricted entity, am I able to retain them?

    Regarding Independence, I have used the external independence system and identified several restricted entities within both my portfolio and that of my family.

    Am I correct in saying that as long as I am not working directly with the restricted entity, I am able to retain my investments? If not, do all restricted entities, regardless of restriction category, need to be disposed of prior to the start date?

    Or can I simply declare them instead?
