Do psychometric tests solely determine whether you get the job

I recently took an I.Q. test which put me around 115-120, which is quite low I assume? My numerical and verbal reasoning I got full marks on the PWC practice test, but the abstract reasoning I really struggled with, I can’t see the patterns! Does this mean I could get rejected if I fail the abstract reasoning test? Or do the tests only aid to whether you get the job, not if you’re rejected?

Hi Ben - thanks for your question. We measure all students on a variety of different things including the Numerical Reasoning test, our Online assessment portals, and your university / A-level qualifications. We do not include patterns on our Numerical Reasoning tests but we do recommend you practice for the Numerical reasoning test using platforms like jobmi.com or capp at https://www.assessmentday.co.uk/capp-numerical.htm
