Just asking since I am planning to fly back home to India over the summer and wanted to know when we have to be in the UK
Our advice is that you remain within the country from 3 months ahead of your start date. If you leave the country within these 3 months, this could jeopardise your visa process with EY and could mean that you are not able to start with us
I just want to clarify again since I received an email from Ms. Charlotte Bye (she's on the Student Talent Attraction and Acquisition Team) and she said that I only need to be in London prior to my joining date for optional social and networking events
We will submit either an in-country or out-of-country visa application for you, depending on when your visa expires. Our EY policy is to submit an in-country application for any candidate that still has a valid student visa. For further clarity I would advise getting in touch with your recruiter as they will be able to look into this in more detail for you than we can during this session!
Perfect, thank you so much!
Another quick question- do I need to have my National Insurance Number before I start?
Hi Mollie, are there any differences with the out-of-country visa application? E.g processing time?
For any visa questions contact the recruiter on your offer letter :)
Okay, thank you!
Alright thanks!
Btw Arshiya would you like to connect? given we are in similar positions haha
Hi Arshiya - as long as you have applied for your NI number as soon as you are able to, this is fine! It won't impact your ability to join us in September :)
