Hi Jingna! I'm an associate in the financial services practice in London. Day to day I engage with the client and work on a range of testing. Before we began working from home, most often the team were based at the client site in the City with a day or two per week at EY Canary Wharf.
Thanks for your sharing Oliver! I also heard someone said EY very kind for women? Could you pls sharing more about this point?
Hi Jingna, I work in our Diversity & Inclusiveness team and yes we work hard to ensure everyone has equitable opportunities no matter their gender. We have 6 amazing networks with one of them being our Women's Network and we have our Women in Technology community as well. They run events all year round, the biggest being our International Women's Day celebration.
Very nice opportunities! Thanks Amy.
How about EY training? I m very keen to learn and care about personal development!
Hi Jingna, I am based in the Advisory service line in Newcastle! There is a large variety of opportunities for personal development throughout the organisation. For example, I am studying towards two professional qualifications currently (my degree and also a Chartered Management qualification). There is many other professional and internal qualifications offered, with great support and encouragement from colleagues on completing these.
Could u pls share What the key skills EY looking for during the application process?
Hi Jingna, our Talent Team have published a great webpage which discusses the key skills EY are looking for - https://ukcareers.ey.com/students/career-advice/what-we-look-for . I would definitely recommend giving it a read! I would personally say the key skills I have used and developed the most in my career at EY is communicating and teamwork!
Thank you very much for sharing!
