Hi Advait. I've been in Assurance for 5 and a half years now, and the day-to-day does change as you go up the ranks. I hate to give a textbook answer but every day is different - some days we'll be out on site having meetings with management, others working from home with regular calls to work through problems, others in the office. As an associate you will spend a lot of time in excel, essentially problem solving and performing testing, as well as developing an understanding of the clients we audit. As you go up into Senior and then Manager it becomes a lot more about coaching team members, talking through things with the client or the engagement executives. Each week is also genuinely different as you work on a range of different clients with a different team, which makes the job really varied!
