Can I apply to the Edinburgh work experience if I live in a different city (Glasgow)?

Recently I tried to apply for work experience but it said I need to live within an hour of the building to participate. I live in Glasgow and it would take me an hour and a half to get there. Just wondering if it would be ok for my to apply.
