Are there any restrictions on when you can take holidays or buy extra holidays?

    It will depend on your service line. During busy seasons it tends to be not allowed/difficult to get permission for annual leave, but when the busy season is depends on your team and personal work. When you buy holiday you buy it for the whole year to use whenever you could normally use annual leave.

    How much holiday are you allowed to buy per year?

    Up to 5 days. You can also sell up to 5 days as well I believe. It's taken out of your salary across the year as 5 non-working days.
