Hello Sanjana! Thanks for your question - EY does ask for a cover letter however, this is not a requirement to submit your application. I would recommend submitting a cover letter as it lets us as recruiters and the hiring managers learn more about your motivations and make you stand out of the crowd when we are dealing with high volume roles.

You should be sure to include why you are applying for the role. If you don't have experience within that role - explain how you can utilize your transferrable skills. I would avoid using the same cover letter for roles/company - we can tell when this has been put together generically as it tend not to reference the skills needed for the role, so be sure to tailor this!
