Hi, I work in SAT but in transaction diligence. I might be able to answer any questions you have?
@Daevasyaa M. thanks I did. what's EY's policy around wfh/office? For context I am a primary carer at home.
Usually it's 2 days a week WFH, 3 days in office
It also depends highly on your team and project
Some teams have anchor days - days when everyone in the team usually comes in
With projects sometimes the project team will want everyone to come in on certain days of the week
i see
i beleive youre doing teh ICAS exams currently
can you give me an idea on these, are they quite difficult with low pass rates, are they solely accounting focused and how does it differ other than being a different institution from an ACA/ACCA
It's not that different from ACA
It's just ACA is from ICAEW board (england and wales) and CA is from ICAS board (scottland)
Most people from EY pass. They are not easy, but if you work hard you should be able to pass them
Only thing is since you are studying in blocks, it's taught quite fast paced, so you need to be determined to do the work throughout - you can't leave it to the last minute!
