I was also told some people can get assigned to an audit which is more demanding and that this selection process can be somewhat random. Therfore leading to you having to work many more hours compared to your peers. Are there any benefits to having these longer hours?
Yes this is true that some audits do require longer hours than others but generally resourcing should manage your portfolio so you aren't consistently working long hours. If you did find that you were working longer hours than your peers, you can raise this with resourcing and your counsellor.
Benefits wise, some teams may give days off at the end of the audit once signed, but unfortunately the main benefit is experience which can be invaluable during these periods.
