Hi! I am joining the Edinburgh office as an audit grad in September this year and what I know so far is that there will be an ICAS exam at the end of October. I would like to ask if I can use my annual leave and take a long trip around Christmas? Will EY be very busy during this time? Will this affect my plans for my exams?
We would advise that you wait until you have joined the business before requesting annual leave. For Graduate, Business Apprentice and Industrial Placement joiners we do not advise holidays are booked during the first few months of your employment at EY as these may conflict with college study
dates, depending on the professional qualification you will be undertaking.
Once you join EY, you will find out more about your schedule and how to submit leave requests. If you know that you will need time off work for another reason (e.g, medical purposes, close family event), please contact your Recruiter.
I see, thanks Jen, Very helpful! :)
