Hi Jia, although it does go quite fast in my experience I was able to get involved in quite a few different projects! I would say make sure you are proactive
Mine was only one week and virtual as it was during the year of COVID but I still managed to learn a lot about EY and my service line so as Sofia says be proactive
I found my internship to be a real window into what the world of assurance is all about (although this probably applies to all service lines!). You start to peek behind the curtain of businesses in different sectors, and also actually understand what working in audit looks like. Personally, I worked across multiple projects as needed, which was a great experience.
Thanks guys! By proactive do you mean asking for extra work and tasks? Would you be able to elaborate further on this?
Just meaning asking questions to concepts you don't understand and asking if anyone needs help with anything
Thanks Dean!
Hi Jia, yes make sure you ask for work if you feel that you don't have enough and also if there is a project that really interests you, you can ask to get involved :)
